Puffle Spotlight: Just Keep Swimming

Hello penguins,
This puffle is SPORTY!
This puffle is an ORIGINAL four!
This puffle is PINK!
The PINK PUFFLE is all about getting out and having fun.
They don't even have to be on land to do it! They're at their best as swimming buddies during an Aqua Grabber adventure.
It's as if they have secret agent skills. Hmmmm, they do seem pretty elite, don't they?

Puffle Emotes?! Disney Mix Now Available in Australia and New Zealand

Hi penguins!
A couple days ago, Spike Hike announced that we’d be releasing a new app in Australia and New Zealand to try out! There were tons of great guesses as to what the app might be – are you ready to find out what it is?!
Are you sure?
OKAY!
Check out this video to find out more:
SO COOL RIGHT?!
Which feature do you like the most? Let us know in the comments below!

Color Me Unimpressed, Herbert!

Hey Penguins,
What's black and white and serves delicious food? THE PIZZA PARLOR!
That wasn't a joke, I'M SERIOUS! Herbert is sucking the COLOR out of the Plaza!
Okay, so it might be cool that the Plaza looks like Night of the Living Sled. Or like the page from a new coloring book.
But we can't let Herbert get carried away! I don't want to live in a Club Penguin where the skies are grey all the time! That ruins my mood!
Ready to foil Herbert's plan? Check out the Plaza and STOP THAT BEAR!

Puffle Spotlight: Powerfully Shy

Greetings penguins,
How long have white puffles ACTUALLY been on the island? Well, it's tough to say. They blend in SO well with the snow.
Whatever the case, they were discovered wayyyyy back in 2009.
These frosty friends have a real chill to them. Put them in a bath and it'll freeze right up! Brrrrrrrr!
No doubt a power like that would make them AWESOME snow ninjas. Maybe that's where the rumor of their martial arts skills came from.
Or maybe white puffles really are secret ninjas?

Calling All Penguins in Australia and New Zealand!

Hey Penguins!
Remember way back when I posted about going to work on Project: Super Secret? So far we've only shown you the Club Penguin sneak peeks, but there is so much more to the secret than we’ve let on… And it's almost time to reveal what another part of Project: Super Secret is all about!
For right now though, all I can share is the icon.
But very soon, this app is going to appear in Australia and New Zealand and I’m calling on all Penguins down under to help us try it out!
This is just phase one…and the next phase involves Club Penguin.
Any ideas on what it will be?

Puffle Spotlight: A Blog Post Fit for Royalty

Hi penguins,
Today we're going to talk about the RED PUFFLE! And the ORANGE PUFFLE! And the YELLOW PUFFLE! AND THE GREEN....
Okay, you get the point. I'm talking about the puffle that has a TON OF COLORS!
THE RAINBOW PUFFLE!
PH found clues of this legendary creature when exploring ancient ruins. Painted on the walls were rainbow puffles!
In 2013, it was discovered these special pets live exactly where you'd expect: the clouds!
Many of them have been adopted since then. They've impressed us with their beautiful colors and rainbow farts ever since!

Puffle Spotlight: Brilliant in Brown

Hi penguins!
The 2011 Wilderness Expedition was an EPIC SUCCESS, thanks to the discovery of the brown puffle! That made it one of PH's FAVORITE parties!
These brainy balls of cute are some serious smarty-pants. There's even a rumor that they invent some of the EPF's top gadgets. I guess Gary isn't the only genius on the island!
The brown puffles love the idea of space flight and were SUPER EXCITED to see a UFO. They never miss a chance to hang out with their alien puffle pals!

Puffle Spotlight: Artistically Amazing

Hi penguins!
Do have an artsy side? Do you LOVE to draw or paint? Is your phone always ready to snap that perfect picture? If yes, you are SOOO yellow puffle!
Yellow puffles are creative geniuses! They're a huge part of the art culture on Club Penguin. In fact, some of the paintings you see around the island are made by yellow puffles.
You know the picture of the green penguin in the Clothes Shop? That looks to me like yellow puffle art.
Some say they've hidden masterpieces to be discovered later. Wow, I'd love to find some of those!

Puffle Spotlight: Kickin' it Primary

Hi penguins!

You'll be red in the face if you can't guess which puffle we're rolling out the red carpet for. I'll give you a hint: This puffle is a daredevil with red-hot surf moves!

Okay, you caught me red-handed: we're celebrating the red puffle!

This extreme puffle arrived on Club Penguin in 2006. But the coolest part? They came from ROCKHOPPER ISLAND!

No wonder Yarr and Rockhopper are so close. They're both intrepid pirates!

-
P.S. The title is referring to the fact that red is a primary color. The more you know right? ;)

HERVERT HAS SHRUNK THE PENGUINS!

HI PENGUINS!

HELLO? HELLO!?

CAN YOU HEAR ME? I'M DOWN HERE!

I'M GOING TO TRY YELLING!

CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?!

Phew, I've got a BIG problem! Actually it's a small problem.
I was visiting the Town when suddenly ZAPPPP, I was hit by a shrink ray! How am I supposed to order a smoothie from the Coffee Shop now? The counter is like a billion feet tall!
I bet you can guess who's behind this. He's big, smelly, and his name rhymes with SHERBERT!
His shrink ray's activated at the Town, so anyone going that way will become a pint-sized penguin!
It's actually not so bad. We can fit way more penguins on the dance floor!
Maybe being tiny is a good thing!!
Waddle on,

Puffle Party!

AMAZING news, penguins!
The PUFFLE PARTY is coming and it's PACKED with puffles! 41 of them!
So guess what? We'll be featuring ALL OF THEM on the blog, starting with the BLUE PUFFLE!
The blue puffle is old school cool. They were seen way back in 2005! They are really loyal to friends.
One of the strangest rumors about the blue puffle is that they have secret superpowers.
Could that be true? Or maybe someone actually saw a blue crystal puffle flying?

CP Joke Of The Day!

Q.) What sound do Club Penguin telephones make?
A.) Wing-Wing!

Basic Beginner Guide From: Boulderdash

First to start off, whenever you enter the world of Club Penguin, you will have a Blue ring around your penguin.  This lets you know that this is your penguin.  Your screen name will also appear below your penguin.
name-and-circle.jpg
If you click on the ground in a random place, you will notice that you will move there.
moving.jpg
You can also click on doors and other items to explore different rooms and items.
click-on-doors.jpg
Click on yourself to open up your Player card.  On your Player card you will find 2 tabs on the right side of it.
player-card.jpg
Click on the top on to see what items you have that are articles of clothing.
 items-in-player-card.jpg
Click on the bottom one to view items like colors for your Penguin, Backgrounds and Pins.
items-in-player-card-2.jpg
At the very bottom of your Player card you will see the amount of coins you have earned.  You can earn coins by playing the amazing games of Club Penguin or you can use these coins to buy items like backgrounds and colors, or if your a member you can buy more things like clothes and secret items.
coins.jpg
Once another player enters the room, you can click on them to open up their Player card.
nicknames-player-card.jpg
Here, you can find out more about them, you can ask them to be your buddy by clicking the smiley face,
nicknames-player-card-2.jpg
Send them a card by clicking on the picture of an envelope (NOT SHOWN), click on the skull icon to ignore them, or the Badge symbol to report them if they are breaking the rules.
nicknames-player-card-5.jpgnicknames-player-card-6.jpg
But if they are your buddy, then you can visit their igloo by clicking on the home button, and you can find out where they are by clicking the yellow face with no smile.
nicknames-player-card-4.jpgnicknames-player-card-3.jpg
You can talk to people using the easy-chat.  This is at the bottom in the blue bar, it is the farthest to the left.  The easy-chat comes with many sayings to help you talk to other penguins.
easy-chat.jpg
You can also use the open-chat which is the big bar within the blue bar.  This allows you to chat openly if the words you are looking for aren’t in the easy-chat box.
blue-bar-chatting.jpg
You can also show emotion by using the emoticon symbols.  Emoticon is an emotion expressed through an icon, like the ones on your blue bar.  To open up a page with emoticons hit the happy face button, this will show many faces like angry, sad, happy etc.
blue-bar-2.jpg
You can do actions like dance, wave and sit by using the action symbol next to the emoticon button.
blue-bar-3.jpg
For fun, you can throw a snowball by clicking on the snowball button next to the action icon.
blue-bar-4.jpg
On the other side of the blue bar we will start with the star icon.  This opens up your player card in case you can’t click on your penguin due to overcrowding or something like that.
blue-bar-5.jpg
Next to the star, you will see the other smiley but this time not as happy, but still in a good mood!  Clicking on this allows you to look at your buddies in case you want to know which one is where.
blue-bar-6.jpg
The next icon is a picture of a house.  Use this to visit your own igloo if you want to.
blue-bar-7.jpg
And the last icon is used if you need information about your penguin or you want to edit something like your password, or become a member, etc.  It also shows how many days old your penguin is and how many buddies you have :)
blue-bar-8.jpg
That’s all for the tool bar, now lets move on to something a little more important like icons in the corners of your screen.
If you look at the top, right of your screen you will see a badge with an “M” on it.  This is the Moderator symbol, or the Secret agent icon.  You can click this to become a secret agent but only if you have been in Club Penguin for 30 days or more.  The reason so is because you need to know Club Penguin and what is considered good and bad.
moderator-symbol.jpg
Now in the top, left corner, you will see a Newspaper.  This is the Penguin Times News.  You should read this to know what is going on in Club Penguin and to know the upcoming events.  Sometimes you will see an envelope or a card with a smile on it in this corner of your screen.  The envelope is an invitation from somebody asking you to be their buddy or an acceptance of someone being your buddy.  The card with the smile on it is a greeting from any possible penguin.
news-and-other-stuff.jpg
And in the bottom, left corner you will see a MAP.  This is your easy way to help get around Club Penguin.  You will see many places on this map, you can see what they are by putting your mouse over them.  But be aware that some things in Club Penguin are hidden and it will be your job to find them!
